Bioenergy from Biomass

Research and development of utilizing biomass for production of bioenergy revealed a biotechnology and bioengineering process. Biomass mainly produced by agriculture industry composed of cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin that can be converted into fermentable sugars before being consumed by microorganism to produce bioenergy such as bioethanol, biobutanol, bioacetone, biohydrogen, biogas and biodiesel

The technology has been commercialized in many country and has been patented for several novel processes, microorganisms, methods and products. The bioenergy merged many advantages including efficient energy production, less pollution to environment, renewable and non limited as the abundance biomass produced, apply green technology approach of utilizing biotechnology bioengineering processes.
